Tips on how to savor your month of April while being busy

When it’s April, everyone is excited for April fools day. They can’t wait to share their humor in the form of jokes and pranks. But for some, it is the long weekend, the summer vibe, and the OOTDs that they are waiting for.

But with your busy schedule, you might find it hard to find a time for the way you want your April to be. If life’s been making you feel like it’s impossible to go out, here are the tips on how to savor your April without neglecting your responsibilities.

Tip no 1: Organize your priority

At the start of the month of April, time is your enemy if you don’t make the best out of it. You will eventually realize that month has already passed. It will make you question what you did in its run. Did you enjoy it or waste it?

Therefore, you must organize your priority first. It could be your school, work, errands, or anything that keeps you busy. Create a schedule if you can. For example, this week, you will catch up with your friends. Next is for errands and so forth.

In this way, it will be easy for you to plan out your everyday movements. You will know what’s urgent and what’s not.

Tip no. 2: List down your to‐do’s

Listing down your to‐do list might not be for everybody, but that’s okay. Some are into journals, some want to simply know in their head what they’ll do in a day, and others will rather type it on their gadgets.

There’s no one right answer to doing this, but what matters most is you’ll know what to do next. You have your idea because you’re done organizing your priority.

The only purpose of listing down your to-dos is for your body to be familiar with productivity. Your body will be custom with discipline as the day goes by.

Tip no 3: Arrange your body clock schedule

The time you wake up and the time you go to sleep will create a huge impact. It must always be on schedule. Your body clock will help your body to control your behavior, your progress, and your’ work mode.’ You will feel less tired during the day. Plus, your melatonin, which will help you to sleep quickly, will also assist you to have a perch of drowsiness.

With all these, you can face your day at your best. I personally recommend doing your duties in the morning. But then again, you must listen to your body clock first.

Tip no 4: Make use of the long weekend

In the month of April, it’s the holy week that we crave. The day off is from the 14th to the 17th, your four-day vacation. This is where you can take your recharge, hangouts, reconnection, and family time. Make sure that you savor this long weekend before facing your Monday again.

Tip no 5: Visit the closest vacation places near you

The most common mistake people who want to take a vacation make is going to places far from them. If you do this, you will spend most of your holiday on the road rather than enjoying the area. Therefore, you may want to visit the best destination near you. No one wants to be foreign in their own place, don’t you? You can start there and visit as many as you can. Then, once you’re done, see the far ones.

It is time management that will hold your month of April. You must be mindful in spending your time because it is the only thing that will never come back.
