From the start of her career, she has starred in different motion pictures. On some, she starred in it, and on some, she lent her singing voice on.
Here are the motion pictures Taylor Swift has starred or featured in according to rank:
6. The Giver
Swift briefly makes an appearance in the 2014 adaptation of Lois Lowry’s book The Giver. She appeared as Rosemary, the daughter of The Giver. While her character also has musical abilities, it was not remarkable as she appeared only for a short period.
5. Amsterdam
Her latest appearance in a motion picture, she starred as Liz Meekins, the daughter of Bill Meekins. Bill was murdered at the start of the film and her daughter Liz sought out help from the main protagonists. Spoiler alert, Swift’s car scene was truly iconic, if you know what I mean *cues Getaway Car*.
4. Cats
Even though this motion picture adaptation of the musical did not do well in the box office, Swift still delivered. Appearing as Bombalurina, she sang Macavity with a beautiful production number. She also wrote an original song titled “Beautiful Ghosts” alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber, the writer of the original musical himself.
3. Hannah Montana
Who wouldn’t forget her appearance on Hannah Montana: The Movie? Even though it was just a cameo, her scene was truly one for the books. In her scene, she sang the hit song “Crazier” and it really made us crazy for her. She also wrote “You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home” alongside Martin Johnson for the movie.
2. Valentine’s Day
On the second spot is her first big motion picture appearance on Valentine’s Day. She appeared as Felicia, who has an intelligent and adorable persona. Taylor Swift starred alongside Taylor Lautner, who played as her character’s love interest. In addition, the song “Today Was a Fairytale” by Swift was also included in the film’s soundtrack. Thus making this role of hers memorable.
1. The Lorax
Acquiring the top spot, her performance as Audrey is considered to be her best role in any motion picture. In the 2012 adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, Taylor Swift became the voice actress of the antagonist’s love interest. According to her, this role was challenging as doing voice-overs was really different from recording songs she has written. Well, she really embodied Audrey’s personality which is why we can’t deny that she did a great job in this role.
