Style

Ever felt the need to walk a make-believe runway every time the chorus of Style hits? The whole song is a bop. The first few beats from the start encapsulate TSwift’s pop perfection! The electric guitar enunciates the upbeat melody as the song progresses.

What gives it a strutting energy is the unapologetic utilization of various sonic elements that flows all throughout its construction. A jump of the genre done this exemplary really is a gift to all of us. Everything about it just screams number one.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Hopefully, she releases Style (Taylor’s Version) of this soon.

Enchanted

A top-tier non-single track! Enchanted is the epitome of Miss Blondie’s impeccable songwriting skills. Speak Now stans, a yay for us! After a well-produced minimal riser, Enchanted’s chorus brings listeners to a mystical and dreamy state.

A route Taylor Swift led us this past decade in the entirety of her musical direction. It feels like running in cliché high school prom hallways right after professing you like somebody. Loving and direct. The string-heavy song both electrifying yet pristine sounding.

Cardigan

Folklore caught us by surprise in the most artistic way as Taylor Swift’s image blooms anew. Cardigan is her genius. Nothing compares to the single’s heartfelt melody in the chorus.

A cohesive world-building vision with the promising pop-indie folk sound. Cardigan truly knows how to carry the third-party love story narrative. She describes the motif of the record in Folklore: The Long Pond Sessions,

I think it has a double meaning…where you are updating a former lover on what your life is like now. And trying to be positive about it.

Taylor Swift’s discography is intricately amazing. Right now, all we have is the figment of vault tracks she knows that we, as fans, will appreciate. Cross-fingers for Speak Now Taylor’s Version. Some honorable mentions are New Romantics, Anti-Hero, I Think He Knows, Ivy, Tim McGraw, and Getaway Car. Yah or nah?
