Following the surprising reveal of the identity of famed Lady Whistledown last season, I bet people didn’t see that coming. Bridgerton is coming back for more enduring friendships, families finding their way, and the search for a love that conquers all.
What can we expect for Bridgerton Season 2?
Brought to you by Shondaland, Netflix, and creator Chris Van Dusen, the second season follows the eldest of the Bridgertons on his quest for finding true love.
The Viscount, Lord Anthony Bridgerton, sets out to find a suitable wife following his duty to his family. His search for a debutante gets him entangled between two sisters from India.
The series stars the original cast from the first season, headed by Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Luke Newton, and Nicola Coughlan. Phoebe Dynevor is also returning with Ruth Gemmell, Florence Hunt, and Claudia Jessie.
Moreover, it features the new faces of Simone Ashley (Kate) and Charithra Chandran (Edwina) as the Sharma sisters.
Although sadly, the Duke of Hastings will not be returning with the lot, we anticipate more from the Bridgerton brothers to spice up the second season. Here’s to more revelations and scandals being revealed.
