Neri Miranda offers help to bride scammed by wedding coordinator
Neri Miranda offered to give a lending hand to the viral bride scammed by her wedding coordinator.
The entrepreneur and former actress wrote her piece on the incident on Instagram last Thursday, September 24.
Looking back at her experience as a bride, she believed no bride should ever feel stressed on their special day.
“Bilang naging bride din ako, ang pinaka ayaw natin ay mastress sa mismong kasal natin. Kahit lahat ng tao sa paligid natin, di tayo dapat binibigyan ng stress,”
Then, Neri extended her help towards the scammed bride, saying she will take care of the reception, cake, and other wedding needs.
“Wala kayong gagastusin mag-asawa. Kami na bahala. May pa-pocket money kami sa inyo kahit papaano. Wag ka nang umiyak. Kami na bahala sa inyo,”
Furthermore, Neri’s celebrity colleagues Rufa Mae Quinto, Andi Manzano, Candy Pangilinan, and Donnalyn Bartolome commended her for her actions in the comments section.
The story behind the viral bride comes after she and the groom arrived at the supposed venue for their wedding, only to find out that no event was booked that day.
In addition, the wedding videographer told the press how the coordinator did not show up to assist the couple at the venue.
Moreover, the coordinator has been detained by the police, only after he attempted suicide and got rushed to the hospital.
You truly are a good samaritan, Neri! Thank you for helping the bride with this heartbreaking situation.
