The search for the ultimate Filipina to conquer the universe continues as Miss Universe Philippines 2023 applications are still ongoing. Extending its deadline to February 14, the pageant adds an exciting change to its competition. Encouraging and giving more reasons for aspiring candidates to enter.

In a social media post, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization announces that three crowns are at stake for this year’s edition. The caption reads: “Three exceptional women, each with their own unique destiny, are poised to make their mark and set to dazzle the universe on the global stage.”
Currently, the organization bestows three titles: Miss Universe Philippines as well as Miss Universe Philippines Tourism, and Charity. Implemented since 2021, the two other titles won’t be competing internationally. However, should the winner be unable to fulfill her obligations, then the MUPH Tourism will take over.
Miss Charm and Miss Supranational to join MUPH?
Following the announcement, fans have mixed reactions regarding the new development. Additionally, rumors concerning the two new titles have started, with plausible assumptions focusing on pageants like Miss Charm and Miss Supranational.
Currently underway in Vietnam, our representative for Miss Charm is Annabelle McDonnell. She is the reigning MUPH 2022 1st runner-up. Empire/Mercator Talent Agency (owned by MUPH Creative Director Jonas Gaffud) is in charge of running Miss Charm’s local franchise.
Meanwhile, speculations that Miss Supranational Philippines is now under MUPH following its departure from ALV Pageant Circle. The announcement is anticipated to be made within the coming days, and it’s definitely going to be interesting.
Applicants for Miss Universe Philippines 2023 will undergo a physical screening on February 13 and 14. Meanwhile, the final selection for its official candidates will be on February 15.
