‘LOVESCENE’ is James Reid’s new baby

Five years apart from when his last studio album “Palm Dreams” was released, singer-actor James Reid, on Monday, announced that “LOVESCENE” is something people should be preparing for this October. The 29-year-old Careless Music founder revealed on his Twitter account, @tellemjaye, that he had not finalized the said decision until two weeks ago.

“Hello, so I’m not releasing an EP anymore. Now it’s a 10 track album dropping in October,” he told his followers. “Sorry I decided like 2 weeks ago. There was just too many songs I wanted to share with everyone. So be ready.” The word “LOVESCENE” was included in the tail end of his tweet, dropping hints to his millions of followers.

On the exact announcement date, August 29, James Reid posted a mirror selfie on his Instagram. This comes alongside the caption “Coming home to drop a MF album 🇵🇭.” As of writing, the Instagram selfie has already garnered more than 232,000 likes and at least 1,700 comments.

Moreover, the recent news showed Reid’s interactions with fellow music artists. These include Jay B of the Korean Pop Group Got7 and the rapper ØZI of Taiwanese and American descent. The young record label executive also puts extra effort into connecting with brilliant artists who wish to expand their talents.

During the Careless Trade Launch last June 20, they officially introduced their newest artists, including the 24-year-old actress Liza Soberano. 11 years under the management of Ogie Diaz, the actress decided to join Careless Music to explore more of her “creative freedom.” Soberano and Reid are expected to work on a new project.
