‘On the Wings of Love’ of James and Nadine will stream on Netflix soon
The beloved “Team Real” will be coming back! The hit ABS-CBN well-adored series, “On The Wings of Love” (OTWOL) will become available on Netflix soon!
The series starring James Reid and Nadine Lustre will be on the streaming platform beginning January 24. This is according to the New on Netflix newsletter for January 2022.
The teleserye launched the famous love team and ex-lovers James Reid and Nadine Lustre On the Wings of Love or “OTWOL” follows the story of Clark Medina and Leah Olivar.
Leah is a simple girl with an American dream. On the other hand, Clark is a boy living an American life. The two are forced to marry in order to legally stay and continue working in the United States.
Aside from the then-budding actors, they are joined by Albie Casiño, Kyle Echarri, Bianca Manalo, and veteran actresses, Cherry Pie Picache and Isay Alvarez.
It originally had a six-month run on ABS-CBN which concluded in February 2016.
This is not the first time the series came back though. In March last year, OTWOL had a free TV showing.
By then, ABS-CBN had to revamp its primetime programming since, as everyone knows, productions were halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Another fun fact about the series is that it saw the beginning of James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s real-life relationship.
On the Wings of Love was directed by Antoinette Jadaone. She also made other well-received films such as That Thing Called Tadhana, Alone Together, and last year’s critically-acclaimed film, Fangirl.
Fans of the former onscreen pairing, as well as the real-life ex-lovers, are probably excited to see this. A reminder we would love for you to keep in mind, however, is to respect their personal lives.
This is a fun throwback but please let them be happy on their own. It’s evident that both of them respect each other so please do the same.
