LJ Reyes takes relationship to next level with engagement to non-showbiz partner
Actress LJ Reyes dropped a bombshell on Tuesday after disclosing that she is set to tie the knot with a non-showbiz partner.
The StarStruck season two graduate broke the surprising news through a social media post dated May 30. The update was quoted with a bible verse while tagging her boyfriend’s account, Philip Evangelista. The caption read, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and hope.”
Moreover, Reyes launched her new relationship status with her husband-to-be through serial images capturing their sweet moments. In the mentioned post, Evangelista was observed kneeling before the actress, holding what appears to be an engagement ring.
Consequently, the succeeding snaps showed Reyes getting emotional while accepting the proposal. The pair then concluded the photo sequence by tightly embracing each other and posing tenderly for the camera.

In 2021, Reyes relocated overseas following her controversial split from actor Paolo Contis, her boyfriend of six years. She had their daughter Summer and son Akio from her ex-boyfriend, Paulo Avelino.
