Hidden summer destinations you have to visit soon

It’s officially dry season! Summer is just around the corner and you’re definitely already thinking about where to go on your vacation.

Several places might pop into your head. Boracay? El Nido? Siargao? These tourist spots may be the safest and most convenient options. Instagram-worthy, well-known, and of course, the promise of a paradise is granted. But then, why not try something new?

Here are some of the hidden, or should I say, underrated, summer spots you should go visit soon, solo or with your loved ones. Either way, you won’t regret spending your vacation at these places.

Kiudkad – The Last Resort

If you’re the type of person who enjoys solitude, then this place is for you. Located in Siruma, Camarines Sur, Kiudkad is a spot where you can unwind, free from the hustling and bustling of the city.

Kiudkad only accepts reservations because of the limited areas for occupancy. There are two houses and a campsite ground available for rent.

This paradise offers a wide variety of activities. You can go trekking, hiking, biking, trail riding (dirt bikes), snorkeling, free diving, scuba diving, kayaking, and many more.

Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary and Sandbar

The island of Masbate is known for its incredible tourist spots. Their beaches boast of crystal waters and white powdery sand that can surely make you swoon when you get to see it with your own eyes.

One of these summer spots is Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary and Sandbar located in Mobo, Masbate. This place is perfect for strutting your bikini body because of the magnificent view it offers.

You can also have lounge with your friends or family inside the cottages along the sandbar. Or you can take a glimpse of the mangrove sanctuary at the other side.

Tinipak River

Wanting to try something new? Ditch the beach and try swimming in the cool waters of Tinipak River in Tanay, Rizal.

The river is surrounded by gorgeous rock formations. Its location is also part of the Sierra Madre Mountain Ranges, so this means that there are plenty of trails to explore. Also, Tinipak will make you appreciate nature more because of the lush green forests that surround you.

You can also go camping in the nearby grounds with your barkada. A perfect getaway indeed.

Hinatuan Enchanted River

This summer destination is certainly straight out of a fairytale.

Hinatuan Enchanted River, located in Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur, is known for its 80-feet deep trench that will either make your skin crawl or make you want to deep dive to the bottom. Nevertheless, the river possesses the clearest waters one could ever imagine.

Mulawin Falls
