Summer MMFF 2023 reveals list of nominees

Only hours before the awards night, the Summer Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023 on Tuesday revealed its final list of nominees.

For this year’s edition, eight films vied for the thirteen categories introduced by the film fest. Out of over 30 submissions, the final qualifiers were revealed in late February. Meanwhile, the chosen entries will be screened in cinemas nationwide until April 18.

On the other hand, seasoned actress and Golden Globe and Bafta nominee Dolly de Leon is the jury head for Summer MMFF 2023. Below are the nominees.

The 2023 Summer MMFF Gabi ng Parangal will take place on April 11 at the New Frontier Theater. OnePh and TV5 will both have a live telecast of the awarding ceremony.
