Fan Girl wins big at the 2nd VP Choice Awards
VP Choice Awards 2020 has come with JV Cruz and Joy Barcoma hosting the Livestream event. This year’s edition features Fan Girl‘s big-time win. Presented on March 6, 2021, VPCA highlighted the finest – the prime and supreme – in the Travel, Lifestyle, Technology, and Entertainment industries. Village Pipol determined the winners through a voting system.
This includes 25% from online votes, 25% from Facebook shares, 30% from the editorial team, and 20% from a panel of judges. This year’s panel of judges consists of creative and fashion personalities, business people, and entertainment executives. This includes entrepreneur Arlene Garcia – de Leon. Marketing expert Inyi Yruma. Director-slash-choreographer Juan Paulo Infante. Fashion designer Jhay Layson. And, creative director for a magazine under an Emmy-winning media company Allen Esteban.

Antoinette Jadaone‘s Fan Girl dominated the movie category at the award-giving body. VPCA highlighted Charlie Dizon and Jadaone as Movie Actress and Movie Director of the Year respectively. Aside from that, the film itself won as the Movie of the Year. As a way to express their gratitude for such a recognition, Dizon and Jadaone sent videos thanking the people who supported Fan Girl.
