1. USE YOUR VOICE

We are the first generation to recognize that we are ruining the world and we may be the last to act. One of the most powerful things you can do is to speak up, especially to the proper people. Speak with your local government. Tell them they must take action to safeguard the environment.

Get in touch with the brands you shop from and ask them how their products are sourced. Use social media to tell brands you want a change – it’s one of the most effective methods to encourage them to listen to you.

2. EDUCATE YOURSELF

Keeping yourself educated is one of the best things you can do; the more you know, the better. It equips you to have those difficult talks with your friends, family, and others you wish to impact. Get educated on the facts, keep up with the latest news on the state of our environment, and figure out what you can do.

3. TRAVEL RESPONSIBLY

Traveling wisely is one of the most effective methods to reduce your environmental impact. This includes taking a more sustainable mode of transportation whenever possible, such as walking or cycling.
