VP/Xclusives: DJ Loonyo | Passion Overrules Fear
In an exclusive interview, DJ Loonyo admitted he didn’t see himself pursuing music because he felt afraid of doing so. However, his passion to grow as an artist overruled his fears. Although it did not come easy for him, he still took the chance to seize the moment and embrace what life has to offer.
“To be honest, it’s really for growth… Last year talagang nag-decide ako from China sabi ‘ko, ‘Uuwi ako ng Pilipinas to face my fears sa music…’ Kasi naniniwala ako pag na-overcome mo ‘yung fear mo mas grabe yung growth mo as an artist…”
Despite what other people might say, DJ Loonyo did not care about other people’s opinions. He disregarded people’s approval, standing on his own decision, and choosing bravery for everyone who believes in him. Moreover, his determination and will to do so pushed him to pursue his new career.
“…and, of course, to inspire more people na syempre ‘wag kayong matakot na may masabi ang ibang tao kasi, at the end of the day, ikaw at ikaw lang rin naman ‘yung makakapagdecide sa sarili mo.”
