In spite of the cold and rainy season, the competition at the 5th annual Man of the World pageant is definitely heating up. Currently being held in Manila and with the finals only a few days away, the search for the most handsome and charming man is undoubtedly getting a lot more intense.

Adding fuel to this excitement is the fact that two Filipinos are competing to win the coveted title. Both equally strong and have great potential, let’s get to know them a little bit more.

Representing the US is Filipino-American Tyler Gaumer. A 26-year-old Fitness and health junkie as well as a motivational speaker, Tyler previously competed at the inaugural Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2023 where he placed as 3rd runner-up.

While he might be representing another country, Tyler is nonetheless very proud of his Filipino heritage. Saying that his upbringing merely serves to illustrate what America truly is: “A diverse country with different cultures.”

Meanwhile, serving as the host delegate is 21-year-old James Reggie Vidal. A mental health advocate, James is also a model and a tourism student at the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue (UCLM).

With a homecourt advantage on his side, James has been doing very well in many of the pageant’s pre-pageant activities. Hopefully, this luck continues on and secures him an even bigger victory.
