Ben&Ben and Munimuni collaborate for a new song ‘Sugat’ coming this Friday

New song alert! Ben&Ben is set to release another collaboration song Sugat with Munimuni this Friday, following their last track Pasalubong with Moira dela Torre. Coming out on all streaming platforms. This comes along with the release of their official music video directed by Tey Clamor and Keifer Cabugao, with the creative direction of Toni Muñoz and Karen De La Fuente.

Sugat by Ben&Ben feat. Munimuni drops this Friday

Ben&Ben announced the upcoming collab track last August 9 on their social media accounts. They also revealed a song about healing from wounds of our past. Also, it encourages the listeners to evaluate and assured themselves that we are never bound to our past but to reflect and learn from it. Written by the band’s percussionist Toni Muñoz and vocalist Paolo Guico, this song is a must-listen.

Furthermore, the band will also drop their second album which includes 12 all-Filipino songs with six collaborations this August 29. They also confirmed on their Facebook post that Sugat featuring Munimuni belongs to their collaboration songs in their upcoming album.

Sugat behind the scenes

Aside from that, Ben&Ben previewed their behind-the-scenes of Sugat. They also posted photos of how they prepared for their upcoming track. Meanwhile, fans and netizens commented that the band sets are the favorite Pinto art museums. While some continue to show their support and stated that they can’t wait for the new song.

What do I look forward to their collaboration track?

The Filipino indie band Munimuni announced last September that their group would be taking hiatus. So, seeing them again to perform together with Ben&Ben excites me. Probably this would be the fresh start of the band. However, whatever happens, I still support them and Ben&Ben. I know this would be another hit song sets to break our hearts, reminding us of all the unseen wounds that need to be healed.
