Sony finally unveiled the PlayStation 5, to be launched here on November 19!

Sony launched its PlayStation brand back in 1994.  Since then, the company has released four major consoles, all of which have received refreshed designs. Now it finally reveals the PS5 design along with a sneak peeks of new games. We still roughly have two months left before the company will officially release this console here.

A modern-looking console that is packed with a lot of features!

Design-wise, the PS5 is a sleek white console with black trim. It’s tall and looks to be slimmer than the Xbox Series X. Just to review, it has an AMD Ryzen Zen2 8-core/16 Thread processor, AMD Radeon RDNA 2-Based graphics engine with Ray Tracing Acceleration. It also features 16GB GDDR6, 825GB SSD, and an Ultra HD Blu-ray drive.

Ports consist of two USB Type-A, one USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1 Out port, Ethernet port. It connects wirelessly through WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1. This console only measures at 390 x 104 x 260 mm and weighs only at just 3.9kg. Sony also announced PlayStation 5 accessories like the DualSense Wireless controller, PULSE 3D wireless headset, HD Camera, Media Remote and DualSense Charging station will also arrive this November.

During the PlayStation showcase event,  the company has shared sneak peeks of Devil May Cry 5, Special Edtion, Final Fantasy XVI, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach, Hogwarts Legacy, and the upcoming God of War title. They also played some game footage of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War and Demon’s Souls remastered. These games will launch alongside the PlayStation 5 and will be priced from USD 49.99 up to USD 69.99.

Sony is going to bring The PlayStation 5 in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea on November 12 and will arrive in the Philippines and the rest of the world on November 19.
