Recognizing Dra. Tintin Tanciangco Javier’s contribution to the world of aesthetics
To cap off the Women’s month celebration, we are extremely proud to share the story of a strong woman, a loving wife, an amazing mother, and a notable dermatologist in one – Dra. Tintin Tanciangco Javier.
In an interview with Village Pipol Magazine, Dra. Tintin shared an inspiring narrative on her journey toward becoming a dermatologist.

Getting-to-know Dra. Tintin
Her love for arts, drawing, and science during childhood played a big part in her decision for her medical specialization. From then on, she pursued her love for arts, beauty, and aesthetics. Currently, Dra. Tintin works as a board-certified dermatologist for 22 years.

She has been practicing her expertise since 2001. She took her residency training at the University of Sto. Tomas, Department of Dermatology. Dra. Tintin is a diplomate and fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society. She has also been a President of PDS in the Central Luzon chapter.
Dra. Tintin shared that starting a practice was one of the challenges she encountered, especially since she is the first Doctor in their family. However, she was able to build a steady and stable practice with the help and support of her family and friends. Aside from starting a practice, competing with non-dermatologists was also a challenge for me, Dra. Tintin added.

Being a woman can be both challenging and rewarding. Dra. Tintin believed that being a dermatologist would create an impact on her patients by restoring their skin health, confidence, and capabilities.
As a woman, Dra. Tintin always feels grateful whenever she has an opportunity to help other people most especially her patients. This happens when she helps them go through a skin condition, boosts their confidence through aesthetic treatments, and just makes them feel good about themselves in general.
