Patta x Nike Air Max 1 spotted in monochrome white-grey colorway

If you’re one of the sneakerheads who can’t get enough of the “Noise Aqua” and “Monarch” colorway, you’re definitely going to love the newest colorway of the successful collaboration of NIKE and Dutch streetwear brand, Patta.

Nike and Patta revealed the newest rendition of their collaboration, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “The Waves.” The “Waves” colorway features a grey mesh base for the uppers and Grey Swooshes.

The upper of this latest colorway is composed of mainly mesh and an overlay made of leather material. The mesh is found on the toe box and on the collar in a grey colour. The rest of the upper is made of leather. The leather overlay is in a different shade than the mudguard, which is is super white. The contrasting shade makes the rest of the upper look more off-white.

It also has a slightly-aged midsole, which makes the white “wavy” mudguard stand out even more.  The pair also features a White and Grey rubber outsole.

Based off the color scheme of this forthcoming collaboration, Nike and Patta dives into the monochrome and aged / retro vibe that is currently in trend right now.

The first two colorway of the collaboration, the “Noise Aqua” and “Monarch”, received tremendous support from the community. As of now, the two colorways of Nike x Patta Air Max 1 has a resell value of $300 USD.
