ArmyBlinks! Get ready for 2020!
BTS and BLACKPINK assured their fans – ARMY and Blinks – that they don’t have to wait too long to hear new music from two of the biggest Kpop groups. In fact, they are both currently in the process of preparing a comeback album in 2020.
RM, leader of BTS, confirmed the good news regarding the boy group’s comeback while accepting BTS’ award for Group of the Year at the 2019 Variety Hitmakers Brunch.
“The great news is that we are currently working on our new music and new album and can’t wait to share them with you guys in the near future. I hope you guys are so excited to discover what BTS has instore in 2020,” he said.
According to BTS’ Jimin, the upcoming album, rumored to be titled Map of the Soul: Shadow, is better than what ARMYs are expecting.
Meanwhile, a source from Blackpink’s company – YG entertainment – revealed that blackpink members are recently recording several new songs for their new album which is set to be released early next year.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie announced on VLIVE CH+ that Blackpink is really finally coming back in 2020 and asked Blinks to wait a little more.
Blinks have been anticipating for Blackpink’s rumored first album after the girl group’s last music release in April 2019, a five-track mini-album called Kill This Love but the said comeback is still unconfirmed if full album.
BTS’ Boy With Luv and BLACKPINK’s Kill This Love were both featured on YouTube’s annual Rewind Video as the respectively 1st and 4th most watched music videos in Korea in 2019.
