Miss Eco International finally reveals the date and venue for its 2023 pageant. In a social media post, it was announced that the finals will take place on March 4 in Egypt.
Taking place both in the cities of Cairo and Hurghada, the competition will begin on February 21. The exact location for the coronation night has yet to been announced.
Reigning Miss Eco International 2022 Kathleen Paton of the Philippines will crown her successor at the end of the event. This means that Miss Eco Philippines 2023 Ashley Subijano will gun for a possible back-to-back win.
In total, the Philippines has 2 titleholders under the pageant’s name. Aside from Kathleen, Cynthia Thomalla won the country’s first crown in 2018.
Earlier this December, its sister pageant, Miss Eco Teen has already taken place. India’s Cherisha Chanda took home the title while Philippines’ Beatriz McLelland was hailed 1st Princess or first runner-up.
Now on its 9th year, Miss Eco International aims to promote the importance of saving our planet environmentally. In addition, it brings together representatives of different cultures and traditions from all across the world to market tourism.
Furthermore, Miss Eco International supports the UNSDGS 2030 Agenda for a better world.
