In winning the crown, looking your best by dressing to impress should start from day one. This is evident with how our Beauty queens have become quite innovative with their departure attire.

Over the years, we’ve seen a diverse set of looks from our representatives with designs that aren’t only fashionable but are also creative. Whether it’s something simple and casual or extremely nationalistic, our girls have a lot to offer.

Just recently, Michelle Arceo, Miss Environment Philippines 2021, has arrived in Mumbai, India, and she has done so in style.

Designed by Cyrus Gueta, Michelle’s departure outfit is a blend of both Philippine and Indian culture, and she looks stunning!

The best of both cultures

Described as both vibrant and glamorous, the outfit is a modern take on the Philippine terno. A red Indian saree completes the crimson ensemble, paying homage to the host country.

According to Gueta, “we paid tribute to the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and good fortune, power, beauty, and prosperity.” He also adds that the color symbolizes to represent love, strength, and bravery.
