Feel old yet? The K-Pop industry is now in its 4th generation and many girl groups debuted in the past years. Time to recall and go back to 2018!

Any K-Pop group that debuted in or after 2018 is considered as part of the fourth generation of K-Pop. These generations are used to distinguish the debut date. Moreover, since different eras have different musical genres, they are all distinct from one another.

Now, let us look back on the debut songs of the top K-Pop girl groups!

To Heart by fromis_9

fromis_9 officially debuted on January 24, 2018, with their song To Heart.

LATATA by (G)I-DLE

LATATA by (G)I-DLE was released on May 2, 2018, as the lead single for their debut extended play I Am. The group’s leader Soyeon wrote this trap song for the group.

DALLA DALLA by ITZY

ITZY showcased the start of its signature crown pose with DALLA DALLA on February 12, 2019.

SO BAD by STAYC

With six members, STAYC released their title track SO BAD on November 12, 2020.

Black Mamba by aespa

The most awaited girl group under SM Entertainment aespa finally debuted on November 17, 2020, with the metaverse song Black Mamba.

ELEVEN by IVE

IVE released their debut EDM-inspired song ELEVEN on December 1, 2021.

Kep1er from the Mnet’s competition reality show Girls Planet 999 debuted on January 3, 2022, with WA DA DA.
