Kep1er: A KPOP group’s journey from dream to reality
From the survival show, Girls Planet 999, these nine girls showcased their talent and worked their way diligently to get their spot in a global girl group, which is now a successful group, Kep1er.
Where all the dreams started
Girls Planet 999 is a survival show by MNET. The main goal of this show is to form a nine-member global girl group by competing against each other through different tasks and performances. The members will be chosen according to their individual global rankings, which is from a voting system that allows the viewers to choose their picks.
There are 99 contestants that came from China, Japan, and Korea. The show is a success globally, mainly because of its wide variety of contestants from different countries, making it an exceptional and truly global girl group. The newly formed group will earn the privilege to promote in the KPOP industry for 2.5 years.
After 12 episodes, the new girl group Kep1er is formed. With its talented members Yujin, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Youngeun and Yeseo, the group’s debut is highly anticipated all over the world.
From Girls Planet 999 to Kep1er
Kep1er’s debut song, WADADA is famous both locally and globally. The girls’ captivating charm and upbeat melody, Kep1er really runs their way to our hearts.
The girls are continuously dominating the KPOP world with their amazing discography and choreography, leaving the fans in awe. Recently, Kep1er released a song entitled, “Giddy”. It is a song about a girl who feels giddy and excited about a boy that she adores.
Recently, Kep1er also held a sold out mini tour in three different cities in Japan. They had successfully performed in all sold out shows, proving their big impact and popularity all over the world.
