Actor Joshua Garcia bared his utmost happiness for the premiere of Ang mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan, the project marking his debut in a solo lead role.

Ang mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan is based on the 2010 hit novel of contemporary Filipino writer Bob Ong. The movie depicts Garcia as Gilberto “Galo” Manansala, a typical college student from an unnamed college in Manila. Due to some circumstances, he will relocate to an island in the residence of his mysterious grandmother, Mama Susan. But as eerie encounters etched Galo’s time under the elder’s care, he began capturing them in his cryptic journal.

Last Thursday, an invitational screening for Ang mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan occurred at Gateway Cinema, Araneta City. During the event, its star actor shared his thoughts on the film.
