According to Padilla, The Guest will signal his diverse exploration as an artist, hoping he could do more solo works. Although it’s not precisely a farewell to his dreamboat figure, the 28-year-old stressed his strong volition to redefine his craft.

“I’m very excited [as] it’s been a while. Itong mga proyektong gagawin natin ngayon is handpicked. And hindi lang handpicked, [ito rin] yung gusto ko gawin. Now is the perfect time,” he declared.

Meanwhile, Padilla added that while he’s open to accepting projects like his former portrayals, he prefers to break free. Thus, he is glad to fulfill the resolve through The Guest and with the perk of teaming up with Arcilla. In a statement, he sincerely thanked the respected artist.
