How Melodies Mellows the Mind: Benefits of Song-writing

Writing, in general, helps a person release what’s on their mind. Furthermore, allowing them to freely express their experiences and their emotions makes their masterpiece so unique.

The art of making music, on the other hand, can make someone else’s story much easier to tell than narrating. Moreover, making music means playing with words, finding the right rhymes, and using figurative language to beautify stories. To add to this, any kind of story can be told through music.

Making music eases the mind because you get to tell your thoughts in a creative way.

It doesn’t matter if it’s just a random thought that just popped out of your head. Making it in music would give people a chance to vibe into your masterpiece. And, that’s just beautiful.

Moreover, even your bizarre imagination can also be put into music, and it won’t matter if it’s real. The art of writing songs can bring out the uniqueness in a person because of different approaches.

Personally, writing songs helped me get through anything. Most especially during the times when my emotions were extreme.

I mostly write songs about what I strongly feel because I can creatively put my thoughts in words. Moreover, I use ‘magic’ when it comes to making my music. I love writing songs that have a twist so that they won’t sound ordinary. Furthermore, I want people to feel my emotions and to dig into the ‘magic’ of my words.

The song that I created out of extreme emotions: inevitable (Moon River)

Lately, I created a song titled inevitable (Moon River). It’s based on my grandfather who’s fighting for his life at the hospital. I put ‘magic’ in this by referencing Moon River‘s melody because it’s my grandfather’s favorite song.

Moreover, the word ‘inevitable‘ lingered in my mind as my family talked more about his condition, telling us that the inevitable thing might happen anytime. Furthermore, losing a loved one who was close to you brings a different kind of pain because of the fact that you will never get to see them again.

The art of making music is beautiful because of a person’s ability to put personal touches on their songs. The magic of song-writing helps a person express their deepest thought that they could or couldn’t talk about to people. Moreover, making beautiful melodies are worthwhile because it can be retained and passed on.
