‘He’s Into Her’ Season 2 shooting officially kicks off
Aside from fantaseryes, horror, drama and teleserye, teen romances are really a hit for Filipinos! Who’s HIH-xcited for the comeback of the record-breaking series, ‘He’s Into Her’? The wait is almost over! The shooting of its second season officially kicks off today, February 5, announced on iWantTFC social media platforms.
Based on the featured group photo, the series will be starring breakthrough stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. Also, the original cast Criza Taa, Joao Constancia, Vivoree Esclito, Limer Veloso, Dalia Varde, Gello Marquez, Kaori Oinuma, and Ashley del Mundo.
Furthermore, numerous fans expressed their enthusiasm for the show’s second edition. On Twitter, the hashtags #HesIntoHerSeason2 and #HIH2FirstTapingDay smoothly made it in the trending topics.
On Instagram, Donny posted a peek of their first day of shooting, highlighting the shooting’s clapperboard. “HERE WE GO 🐻 #HIH2,” he said in his post.
Last December, fans were able to catch a first glimpse of the upcoming season through its official teaser.
In the first part of the 2-minute clip, Deib (played by Donny) and Max (played by Belle) appear to be enjoying their new relationship. However, in the later scenes, it turns out that a major challenge is approaching that may force them apart.
HIH’s successful first season stint
During its first season stint, the series, based on Maxine Lat’s popular Wattpad novel, hit record-breaking viewership on iWantTFC, which reached 4 million active users.
According to IMDb, HIH also received awards during the Asian Academy Creative Award. Chad Vidanes’ craft took the following awards: Best Direction (Fiction), Best Original Programme by a Streamer/OTT, and Best Theme Song or Title Theme.
