Barbie Imperial confirms split with Diego Loyzaga
After marking their first anniversary last December, Kapamilya star Barbie Imperial announced the breakup with fellow actor Diego Loyzaga. She confirmed exclusively on TV Patrol yesterday, February 4.
Moreover, Barbie did not reveal the reason for their split, but she said that they parted ‘in good terms.’
At a media conference for her new original series “The Goodbye Girl” last Thursday, Barbie disclosed her greatest love lesson.
“I’m the kind of person na kahit medyo nauubos na ako, bigay pa rin ako nang bigay ng love sa ibang tao. So finally, natutunan ko na baka kaya paulit-ulit nangyayari sa’kin ‘to kasi hindi ko talaga minamahal ang sarili ko,” she said.
In addition, she pointed out that she wants to prioritize self-love.
“It’s like all the same story each boyfriend. So for me, what if ibahin ko ngayon? Sarili ko naman ang mahalin ko.”
In the previous months, their relationship has been the topic of speculation when Loyzaga was photographed visiting actress AJ Raval at her house in Pampanga. During that time, Barbie defended the actor, claiming that Loyzaga was unlikely to cheat on her.
Furthermore, in Diego’s trip to the United States, he stated that he had no plan to bring Imperial along.
“I don’t think Barbie has a new passport,” Loyzaga said. “I don’t think even if she wanted to come here, she couldn’t have come here. She needs a visa to come here,” he added.
