Here is a list of songs you could use for your *actual* wedding vows

Sometimes you can’t articulate the things you really mean to say. It can be because of nerves, embarrassment, or you just couldn’t find the right words to say. It’s in your head, at the tip of your tongue, but it wouldn’t come out. But what about the day of your wedding? You couldn’t possibly let the special moment of exchanging your vows slip away because you got your tongue tied.

Here, let me help you. This playlist is especially made for those couples who will tie the knot and would probably opt to sing their feelings instead of reciting their wedding vows.

1. Ang Panata by Johnoy Danao

“Magpakailanman
Ika’y tatabihan
Sasamahan ko
Ang yong pangarap
Aalagaan ko
Ang yong tiwala
Pipilitin kong
Di ka luluha”

2. Lover by Taylor Swift

“Can I go where you go?
Can we always be this close forever and ever?
And ah, take me out, and take me home
You’re my, my, my, my
Lover”

3. Those Eyes by New West

“‘Cause all of the small things that you do
Are what remind me why I fell for you
And when we’re apart, and I’m missing you
I close my eyes and all I see is you
And the small things you do”

4. Tahanan by Adie

“Sa araw-araw
Tanging ikaw ang palagi kong hinahangad
Laging tanaw
Sa ‘yo ang ilaw na nagsisilbi kong liwanag”

5. Payapa by dwta

“Ikaw ang tahanan
Na aking uuwian
Sa bawat tatahakin
Sayo pa rin darating”

6. Could I Love You Anymore by Renee Dominique ft. Jason Mraz

“Sunrise, time flies, feels like a dream
Being close, inhaling, hard to believe
Seven billion people in the world
Finding you is like a miracle
Only this wonder remains”

7. I Will Spend my Whole Life Loving You by Kinna Grannis and Imaginary Future

“And I say Baby
Isn’t it crazy
We are born
Only to die
Oh believe me
I’ve been counting my stars
Cause I will spend my whole life
Loving you”

8. I Belong To You by Jacob Lee

“If I could be honest
Here at the altar
I refuse to grow older
Unless it’s with you
I fell in love
And made you a promise
Though I’d never noticed
How much it meant to you”

9. Glad You Exist by Dan + Shay

“There’s a couple billion people in the world
And a million other places we could be, but you’re here with me
Take a moment just to take it in
‘Cause every high and every low led to this
I’m just so glad you exist”

10. The Joker and The Queen by Ed Sheeran

“I was upside down
From the outside in
You came to the table
And you went all in
With a single word
And a gentle touch
You turned a moment
Into forever”

11. Nothing by Bruno Major

“Dumb conversations
We lose track of time
Have I told you lately
I’m grateful you’re mine”

12. Ikaw Ang Aking Tahanan by Orange and Lemons

“‘Di ko maikakailang
Sadyang nawawari ko
Na kapiling kita
Hanggang sa pagtanda”

13. The One by Kodaline

“Life it’s easy to be scared of
With you, I am prepared for
What is yet to come
‘Cause our two hearts will make it easy
Joining up the pieces
Together, making one”

14. Off My Face by Justin Bieber

“‘Cause I’m off my face, in love with you
I’m out my head, so into you
And I don’t know how you do it
But I’m forever ruined by you”

15. Godsent by Ben & Ben

“God sent those eyes to get me through the night
And all the shadows of the past fade into white
When all the memories in my head subside
You remain here, you remain dear inside”

I rounded up some of the most heartwarming, kilig-inducing, and (maybe) overly cheesy love songs (that kinda reminds me of traditional wedding vows) for your special day, grabbed from my own Spotify playlists for when I want to fantasize about my own wedding.

These are only some of the thousands of songs you could choose from to sing as your wedding vows. But, I’d still remind you to try and come up with a piece of your own. As long as it comes from the heart, your vows will turn out great.
