The official launch of the festival will take place on October 31 at the Angono Gymnasium, where the official Higantes Festival Calendar of Activities will also be unveiled, serving as a guide to the various events scheduled throughout the month of November.
In line with this year’s theme, the local government recognizes the vital role of culture and the arts as the foundation of the Angono community’s identity and as a symbol of unity among its people.
One of the highlights of this year’s celebration: the promotion of the commemorative coin from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), on November 15 at Plaza Rizal. This activity aims to further showcase and celebrate the rich history and cultural heritage of the Municipality of Angono.
Residents and visitors, also encouraged to watch the much-anticipated Higantes Festival Grand Parade, where colorful giant figures will once again come to life, bringing excitement and vibrancy to the town’s streets in a historic and spectacular procession.
As part of the community’s deep faith and gratitude for the blessings received throughout the year, the traditional Fluvial Parade in honor of St. Clement, the town’s beloved patron saint, celebrated every November 23. This event remains one of the most anticipated highlights of the festival.
