GMA THANKSGIVING GALA: A look through the lens of Mark Neto Diaz

Mark, beyond any doubt — captured the right amount of grandeur and effervescence of these luminous personalities. With his remarkable flair for fashion photography fused with the celebrities’ splendors and drama; It is giving the total opulence of the GMA THANKSGIVING GALA 2022.

Last July 30, The Kapuso celebrities paraded around the halls of Shangri-La The Fort BGC’s Grand Ballroom. Blessing the halls of Shangri-La with glitz and glamor inspired by Old Hollywood. This is the motif for the 2022 GMA Thanksgiving Gala, and as expected the stars did not come to play. So Mark Neto Diaz with his team captured some of the A-listers who dazzled with their striking looks.

The powerhouse creatives behind the shoot are comprised of the photographer/creative director: Mark Neto Diaz assisted by Iamjum Per. Producers Japeth Mike Purog and Albert Muyo also took control of the Sparkle Ball shoot production. While the sparkling set design is by Jeremy Xing, assisted by Gellovee Wite and MJ Feliciano. The shoot would also not be possible without the cinematography of Mhygsz Gomez II. And to complete the team is none other than Village Pipol’s very own Josh Austria.

SPARKLING gents of the night

Dustin Yu along with Anjay Anson looks debonair in these predominantly all-white suits.

Juan Carlos Galano rocks a classic Hollywood black suit, while Nikko Co dazzles in this double-breasted suit. A staple piece of Old Hollywood glamor for gents.

Meanwhile, Mclaude Gaudana opted not to wear a tie or bow. Instead, he spiced things up with an open-collar shirt completed with some neck jewelry. Yasser Marta looks expensive in his plush velour suit. And Vince Crisostomo in his white tux’ with black shawl lapel.

Chicas are the Main Characters

A ball would not be a ball without the dazzling ladies and their eye-catching beauty and elegance. Here’s how Mark (and his team) captured these chicas’ main-character moments.

Lianne Valentin did not hold back in her black sparkle bodice with a long wrap-around skirt. Shanelle Agustin channels Ariana Grande in this beautiful black lace ball gown.

Arra San Agustin shows off her sultry side with her Boudoir-inspired slip gown. Faye Lorenzo on the other hand, exudes old Hollywood glamour mixed with a modern touch of her bodycon gown.

Jean Garcia Ages like fine wine!

One of the remarkable icons of Kapuso also happened to be in front of Mark’s lens. She effortlessly graced the photo shoot with her timeless beauty and elegance. Joining Jean Garcia is his son Kotaro Shimizu donning an androgynous look with a sparkling lace ensemble.

Mikee and Paul sparkle together!

Mikee Quintos shines bright in her exquisite bodycon gown along with Paul Salas who looks sleek and sharp in his all white tux’.
