Classical music and how it helps me

Music is one of my go-to whenever I’m bored and stressed with studying. In fact, there is a specific genre that helps me—classical music.

Mozart your classic study partner

On my regular basis of studying, I can’t help but think how people I watch on tv use Mozart as means to concentrate. One time I tried to listen to Serenade No. 13 ‘Eine Kleine Nachtmusik’. It made me ecstatic.

At first, I thought it didn’t make sense but then I realized the wonders it made me feel. If you want to focus on your studies, I suggest Mozart’s composition as your partner. Here are my favorite Mozart compositions:

  • I. Allegro
  • II. Andante
  • III. Presto

Bach for classic bedtime

The works of Bach are also several of my favorites because of how they soothe my ears. Whenever I listen to them, it is as if I am in a dreamland. That is also one of the reasons why they specifically help me to drift off to sleep. If you are looking for more peaceful classical music, Bach is top tier. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Ave Maria
  • Overture No. 3 in D Major, BWV 1068: II. Air, ‘Air on a G String’
  • Concerto for Oboe d’amore in A Major, BWV 1055
  • Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D Major, BWV 1050: III. Allegro

Emotional Benefits of Classical music

Dopamine is one of the potential benefits of classical music. It helps improve your mood and pleasures your body. Similarly, experiencing classical music boosts your happiness. Having a good amount of dopamine lessens the effect of stress in our body and eliminates depression.

  • Nocturnes by Frederic Chopin
