A Student Entrepreneur’s Humble Beginnings
From Nueva Ecija, Candy Esmundo is the owner of Candydo Sweet Goods. She started her business by selling pastillas tubs in her school back then. Although she felt shy to offer her products, she conquered this trait as she wanted to change her family’s life. It was her classmates and co-students who first patronized her milk candy dessert. She, then, posted her products online, and a burst of engagements came. However, the start of the pandemic countered the excellent news.
However, she assessed the situation and thought of making positive outcomes. She started incorporating art into her products, giving birth to pastillas inspired by Filipino street foods such as isaw, betamax, and hotdog. Also, designs like sushi, burgers, and seafood are available! This strategy made her products stand out from the others, attracting more buyers.

Earning a pure six-digit profit per week allowed her to help her family finish constructing their house and share a part of their monthly bills. But, what inspires her more to continue working is her late grandmother, who got sick, and they do not have enough money for her treatment. She said she no longer wants to be in the same situation, losing a loved one to sickness because of financial problems.
Meanwhile, after months of continuous earnings, she now has an office and a vehicle intended for her business. Candydo Sweet Goods has different resellers and distributors across the country, too. What are you waiting for? Look for one now to satisfy your sweet tooth and pastillas’ cravings!
Not a fan of the isaw, betamax, or sushi? What art design would you like Candydo Sweet Goods to add to their product selection?
Aside from writing, she loves sports and has been a varsity student for eight years. But as a kid, she dreamt of being a chef one day. That is why she, too, has fallen in love with the art of cooking. That's Lorwillyn, mostly known as "Joy" in their household, and she may not have the most joyous face you'd ever see when you happen to bump into her. Worry not 'cos she isn't mad nor vexed. She's probably just thinking about what update in the story she should write next.
