Expected from a Philippine candidate, Beatriz McLelland delivered a strong performance during the finals of Miss Eco Teen 2022. In each segment of the competition, she never fails to make a remarkable impression.

For instance, she came out looking like an Egyptian goddess in this bright yellow gown. Made by popular pageant designer Leo Almodal, Beatriz definitely lit up the stage while being extremely elegant.

Meanwhile, for her national costume, Beatriz gave it her all by going all out in this eye-catching ensemble. A creation of rising costume designer Axel Que, the piece manages to turn heads due to its elaborate style.

The costume takes inspiration from a well-known Filipino headgear. Naming the costume, Salakot, it is explained as:

“A traditional lightweight head gear from the Philippines that is commonly used in Pre-Colonial era upto the present. Used for protection against the sun and rain.”

In spite of its seemingly heavy appearance, Beatriz manages to execute it well. Pulling off an effortless performance.
