The Infinix GT50 Pro: Bringing the Cool in Mobile Gaming
Mobile gaming is a revolutionary part of Filipino gaming culture! Gamers and smartphone enthusiasts alike look for practicality, power, and portability. And Infinix might be on to something with the GT50 Pro! Released on April 25, 2026, this gaming smartphone shows how cool mobile gaming can be. Now let us check out the features that make this phone stand out!
Longevity & Performance
The Infinix GT50 Pro has a good ratio of performance and longevity. With its bypass charging feature, the electricity when charging goes straight to the parts and not the battery when full.
This allows the battery to not experience too much wear and tear as gaming sessions can be very draining to the battery that you would need to charge your phone.
There is also a magnetic fan that both cools and wirelessly charges your phone when the fan is plugged in. Which is a pretty cool feature for gamers because it makes it so that the cord of the charger does not block your hands when holding your phone when gaming.
The bypass charging makes it so that the battery is not under too much stress from the influx of electricity and also prevents the internals from overheating which prevents a drop in performance!
What makes it worthy of gaming?
Gamers love good and smooth looking games. And the Infinix GT50 Pro allows that to happen!
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor and a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. This is more than enough for a stable and smooth gaming experience and more!
The popular games like Mobile Legends, Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG Mobile, League of Legends Wild Rift and many more doesn’t even make the GT50 Pro break a sweat.
It also has a 144hz display that makes the gaming sessions look much smoother and polished. Which makes the overall experience feel premium and well manufactured. Gamers love higher fps and refresh rates and GT50 Pro makes sure of that feature!
Keepin’ it Cool
With all those heavy gaming parts, you would think that the heat would be high up there. And it is, but you could never really feel the heat of the phone because of the built in liquid cooling system.
The water in the tubes passes through the processor and other parts of the phone which cycles the hot and cold water. This lets it cool down during gaming sessions.
If that’s not enough, the GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0 is included in the box when buying the standard retail product and cools down the phone with its own cooling mechanism while it also wirelessly charges!
Temps are important in gaming, especially in a platform where it is supposed to be compact. It affects noise, fps and even the overall feel as when phones overheat it becomes a bit uncomfortable to hold.
Cooling is never an option for the GT50 Pro, it is a requirement that must be met.
It’s not all gaming!
What people would assume that since the Infinix GT50 Pro is marketed as a gaming smartphone is that the camera wouldn’t be so good. But lo and behold, the camera is very decent!
Packing a 50 Megapixel Main, 8MP Ultra Wide and a 13MP Front Face. If you’re a gamer that also loves taking pictures the Infinix GT50 will not disappoint!
With multiple features and configurations Infinix did not only consider gaming but also daily use and practicality.
Battery Life is Everything
Of course we’re not going to finish off this review without ever talking about the battery!
It is packing a 6,500 mAh battery, which allows you to use your phone for about 15 hours for daily use functions, and about 10-12 hours for heavy gaming sessions according to the GSM Arena Battery Test 2.0.
That’s a lot of grinding that you could do! And even if you start hitting the red marks on the battery, its super fast 45W charging does not disappoint!
It takes roughly 1hr to 1 ½ hr to charge. It is very decent given that you won’t even be needing to charge it that much. So much so that you might be using it while charging with its cooling fan!
Final Thoughts
It’s now time for the big question, is it worth it? Of course it is! With how much technology and innovation this brings it is certainly worth it! From the battery life, the design and the gaming features.
Although cooling is considered, without the magnetic fan cooler it does tend to become a bit hotter as you go and game for longer. So compatibility and cooling wise, you need to invest if you somehow lose or break the cooler that goes with it.
Portability takes a hit in those points however, while going home or commuting the cooler with needs to be plugged in to work.
Nonetheless, from a price point of 25,999 to 29,999 depending on the storage you’re going for, you could view the prices as good enough especially for gaming.
This also includes its compatibility with the GT NX ecosystem that has a lot of features available and more if you buy peripherals and other accessories from Infinix.
These types of features from this price, alongside the sleek and cool design is money well spent! Infinix innovation and progress in the mobile gaming world makes Filipino gamers seek for these features.
Mobile gaming is getting redefined, level up your play and outplay the rest with the GT50 Pro!
