Islands of Caramoan: Wonderful Islands to visit

The islands of Caramoan are many and varied. Still, I’ve compiled a short list of the three islands you shouldn’t miss on your trip.

Lahos Island

Beautiful white sands flanked by two impressive rock formations characterize Lahos Island in Caramoan. With its wonderful powdery white sand, the island is ideal for swimming and shooting pictures. From Caramoan, you can take a boat to a spot with stunning cliffs and a variety of interesting rock formations. It’s preferable to visit the island during the day so you can take in its stunning scenery. It is said that at high tide, the little island of Lahos beach dissappears.

Matukad Island

Among the islands in Caramoan, Matukad Island is an absolute must-see. due of the breathtaking scenery. There’s a tropical jungle there, plus a lagoon that’s hard to find. If you choose to hike up to see the stunning rock formation, your guide will offer to take you there. They will lead you and fill you in on some details about the lagoon that is concealed along the shore. From atop the rocks, the scenery is reminiscent of Palawan. The stunning beauty of Matukad Island’s beach was clearly visible from above. If you want a tropical drink while taking in the scenery, there are also vendors selling fresh buko juice.

Guinahoan Island

Guinahoan Island, also called Basot Island, has an odd shape. You’ll swear you’re in Batanes kind of feeling when you see the lighthouse perched at the island’s peak. The warm and friendly people who make up this island’s community only add to the island’s natural charm. They are quite kind and helpful to tourists, and many of the young people there have a natural talent for photography.
