Voicemod introduces real-time AI voice changing to macOS

The popular voice changer and soundboard Voicemod is now available for macOS. Streamers, gamers, and content creators can use Voicemod for triggering sounds through soundboards or changing pitches in real time.
Using Voicemod on macOS takes advantage of the virtual microphone built into your system, so it is compatible with both Intel and Apple Silicon-powered Macs. A popular soundboard feature in games and during FaceTime or Zoom calls allows you to play customized sounds over your microphone. The app includes more than 100 voice options and enhancements.
Jaime Bosch, CEO and co-founder of Voicemod, says, “We are excited to be the first company to offer a real-time voice changer and soundboard app to macOS users. Our app is designed to help users gain confidence, express themselves, or bring their character impersonations to life.”
Voicemod’s AI Voices feature combines sound design techniques and professional voice actor lines into a real-time AI-powered voice for fantasy characters, pilots, astronauts, and the actor Morgan Freeman.
More than 40 million Windows users use Voicemod, and the free version is available to download today on its website. The paid pro version unlocks more features and content and customizes the soundboard completely.
As part of its testing process, Voicemod has been testing its macOS client, which is being launched as a beta in order to gather feedback.
