Village Pipol Choice Awards is on the horizon of its annual ceremony honoring the best of the best. Presented by the Village Pipol magazine, it remains highly anticipated and still, the most engaging event since its existence.
For this year’s installment, the award-giving body will continue its legacy of recognizing the reigning prime and supreme. Are you ready?
Village Pipol Choice Awards 2021
VP Choice Awards is the biggest gathering of stars from the travel, lifestyle, and entertainment industries. Finally coming on March 26, it will acknowledge personalities, brands, and individuals who have shown the brilliance of their craft.
Moreover, a fair and transparent voting system will determine the winners. 30% coming from Facebook shares, 20% from Instagram likes, 30% from the editorial team, and 20% from our judges.
This year’s panel of judges comprises icons and experts of their respective fields. Certainly, their experiences are noble assets for the award show. That being said, let us get to know them!
Peter Jan Icago
Peter is the Founder, and Gadget Coach of GIZGUIDE, one of the Philippines’ most trusted technology-based websites. The blog has also provided the latest news, gadget reviews, and tutorial for public consumption. Using his knowledge of technological trends, Peter will offer VP Choice Awards his practical and honest opinion.
Maria Sigrid Lo
The very character behind Sigrid Says, a friendly online journal trusted by many moms. A native of Bacolod, Sigrid is a mother figure and a multi-awarded blogger at that. For more than a decade now, she has mastered her blog. Her precise judgment is an advantage, being the VPCA 2020 Mommy Blogger of the Year awardee.
Raphael Laurent Yu
Passion, versatility, and elegance— these are said to be among his expertise in his shots. Raphael is a seasoned photographer known for capturing remarkable stars in commercials, beauty, or the field of fashion. As an absolute professional of his craft, his insights are a strong suit valuable in the entertainment category. He will bring us what we need!
Jeman Bunyi Villanueva
Jeman is the founding father, publisher, and editor-in-chief of Orange Magazine, a Philippine-based online publication. Launched in 2010, it has featured personalities both of local and foreign prominence. Aside from being a former media and promotions coordinator, Jeman was a tabloid correspondent. Honored is the VPCA to benefit from his relevant perceptions, likewise to have him.

A software QA engineer by profession, a blogger by hobby and passion. Meet Rocky, the owner of the TV Series Craze. His website has a signature of serving consumers with the most intriguing trends. To add, Rocky is an active user of social media. Putting to good use of his savvy, he pairs his major interest in blogging with his lowdown of showbiz affairs.
Sandy Jones Pilarca
Lastly, we have an adept wanderer who specializes in flaunting the beauty of the Philippines. Sandy, who prefers to brand himself as the ‘Juan,’ is a travel vlogger and owner of the Lost Villa. He is also the mastermind of the well-followed page, Lost Juan. As an avid supporter of the local community, his presence completes the VP Choice Awards’ prestige.
