The Man Behind ‘Pinoy Waffle’

The Man Behind ‘Pinoy Waffle’

In Pasig City “Suarez” belongs to well-to-do families since his ancestors were owners of huge Farm Lands and had grown “palay” during their time. Same reason for their family’s engagement in real estate industry one of their projects is “Suarez Ville”. It is a subdivision located in the heart of C. Raymundo Pasig City. When going around Pasig City you could even see streets named after their family. This is a real evidence of their contribution to the society in a very good way.

Fabris Philip Suarez had been an entrepreneur since 2000. He has studied in De La Salle University located in Greenhills San Juan in Grade School. For College, he studied in the same university located in Taft Avenue Manila.

He took up his Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship in De La Salle University so he could hone his original plan. A plan of building different corporations which could contribute to better his and other people’s future.

After Graduation, Fabris Philip Suarez began doing busines. He also promoted his own line of Swarovski jewelries and had several clients in Pasig City. Fabris Philip Suarez and his family are also engaged in a lending business. They are known to financially assist people within their barangay.

Pinoy Waffle started its humble beginnings from one (1) food cart located in Robinsons Place Novaliches previously situated on the 4th floor near the Cinema and had transferred in front of the Supermarket.

However, Mr. Fabris Philip Suarez wanted to build his own Company at the age of 21. Moreover, he eagerly wanted to create an excellent brand that offers affordable and delicious Filipino products. Fabris Philip Suarez’s love for waffles and desserts are the main reason why he created a Filipino Waffle version.

Pinoy Waffle Corner has been established in 2003, together with an aspiring entrepreneur Ms. Angelica Castillo aged 23. She was also previously employed in a franchising company where her craft in sales and marketing made her way to operate one store to 60 stores in barely six (6) months of its operations.

The Company started its humble beginnings with a mission to offer homegrown Filipino waffle with fillings incorporated that are loved by Filipinos such as Tocino, Longganisa, hotdogs or Luncheon Meat.

Both Fabris Philip Suarez and Angelica Castillo re-invented a recipe that matches the Filipino taste. They made it their own brand of Waffle. Its vision is to create 100 stores in different parts of the country which evidently transpired.
