Star Cinema’s A Very Good Girl strikes P100 M at the Box Office

Last Monday, The film company Star Cinema announced the success of the film A Very Good Girl star’s Kathryn Bernardo and Dolly De Leon has earned more than P100 million less than two weeks after it premiered in theaters.
A Very Good Success
The film company thanked the crowd for making the movie a box office hit in cinemas through an instagram post.
“Thank you for making a very good choice to get our local cinemas up and running again. Let us keep up the Philo-menal support for our local films,” it said in an Instagram post.
The word “Philo-menal” is based on a reference to Philo, which Kathryn’s character name in the movie.
Aside from that, the film director Petersen Vargas express his gratitude through leaving a comment to the instagram post. He thanked the people who watched and supported the movie.
The director posted a photo of him with Kathryn and Dolly on his Instagram account. He said “100,000,000 THANK YOUs — I wanna hug every1 who came to see #AVeryGoodGirl in the cinemas.”

The movie A Very Good Girl premiered in theater on September 27 in over 250 cinemas in the country. It’s film box office gross captures the Filipino’s heart and interest in the “new era” of Star Cinema.
As we remember, in 2019 “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” a romance movie which also the star Kathryn and actor Alden Richards, is the country’s highest-grossing Filipino movie.
Aside from the Philippine premier of the movie, it also opened in US Theaters via limited released on October 6, 2023. The Hollywood premiere happened at The Silver Screen, Pacific Design Theater in Los Angeles, California last October 4.
