Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series premium tablets launched
Alongside the new Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5, Samsung also launched three new premium tablets. Namely, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9+, and the base model Tab S9. All equipped with Qualcomm’s most powerful yet, Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
At first glance, they are easily distinguishable by their screen sizes. Biggest of them all is the Tab S9 Ultra sporting a 14.6-inch display. It goes smaller with 12.4-inch on the Tab S9+ and 11-inch on the vanilla Tab S9. Whichever you choose, all three boasts stunning visuals, thanks to the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display technology they use.
The Ultra variant of the camera features four lenses: a 13-megapixel (MP) main lens and an 8MP ultrawide lens at the rear. Additionally, there are dual front cameras for selfies, both with 12MP (wide and ultrawide) lenses.
While the Plus variant sports the same rear camera setup as with the Ultra, but only gets single selfie shooter. Thankfully it’s the 12MP ultrawide.
As for the vanilla model, it comes with single 13MP rear + 12MP ultrawide at the front.
Expect long battery life as well, as the tablets come with high-capacity packs: 11,200mAh on the Ultra, 10,090mAh on the Plus, and 8,400mAh on the vanilla model.
Finally, the devices come with stronger and faster S Pen styluses included in the box. Both the tablets and the stylus that comes with them are exceptionally durable, thanks to their IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series is now available for pre-orders. The product comes in only one colorway, Graphite, and is available in either Wi-Fi only or 5G-enabled options.
Customers who pre-order can avail of a storage upgrade. For instance, they can get a 512GB variant for the price of a 256GB.
