‘Na-meet ko na si papa ko’: Arci Muñoz meets James Corden in Las Vegas
During her trip to Nevada, Arci Muñoz finally met TV host and comedian James Corden, whom she also referred to as her “Papa Mochi.”
On her Instagram page yesterday, March 25, the actress was enthused over her encounter with James in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Na-meet ko na si papa ko, Papa Mochi. I am your son’s wife, Baby Mochi’s wife,” Arci said. In context, BTS member Jimin is sometimes referred to as “Baby Mochi” by the ARMY.
What’s behind “Papa Mochi”
When BTS appeared in an episode of “Carpool Karaoke” in 2020, one moment, in particular, stood out.
James Corden mentioned in the video that Jimin’s nickname was Mochi, which is a type of Japanese rice cake. Jimin subsequently made an unforgettable moment when he called James “Papa Mochi,” and the rest is history.
The guys have been on the show countless times since then. They’ve referred to James as “Papa Mochi” each time.
Back then, the 33-year old actress who has been a devoted member of BTS Army since 2019, recently discussed how the boyband assisted her in overcoming a heartbreak. She claimed that she came upon the K-pop idols at the appropriate time, as she was going through a breakup at the time.
Staying in the United States, Arci has been busy walking the runways at recent fashion events such as Los Angeles Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week.
