Ruru was an alumnus of the reality talent show Protégé in 2012, where he finished as a runner-up. And since then, the Kapuso actor has starred in many ‘teleseryes‘ and movies under GMA Network.
Eventually, he garnered more attention for his boyish charms and well-toned physique aside from his acting.
But as good as an eye candy Ruru is, he is also a talented and award-winning actor. Under his belt are five prestigious awards to boast.
In 2013, he got his first award, Best New Male TV Personality, at the 27th PMPC Star Awards for Television. Ruru bagged the New Movie Actor of the Year the following year at the 30th PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Then, he snatched the Outstanding Breakthrough Performance by an Actor award at the 5th Golden Screen TV Awards in the same year. His latest awards consisted of Best Drama Actor in 2017 and Best Single Performance by an Actor in 2018.
A brilliant actor, and an attractive one at that. Who wouldn’t have a crush on Ruru?
