IG RAID: Alodia Gosiengfiao’s Epic Cosplay Moments
Through cosplay, we can bring fictional characters to life. One of those exceptionally good at making fantasy possible in our world is Alodia Gosiengfiao, the Queen of Cosplay.
Known as Senpai Alodia of the Philippines, the 33-year-old star is a popular gaming video content creator and a veteran cosplayer. Back in 2003, she already started cosplaying at the early age of fifteen. As she became immersed in her craft, she began joining contests and eventually judging at these events. For her first cosplay, she was a Ragnarok Online Priestess.
Mostly based on video games and anime, she has a talent for embodying these characters and making them realistic as possible. As of writing, Alodia has amassed 1.85 million subscribers on YouTube and 8.1 million followers on Facebook.
Below is a collection of cosplays from her Instagram that showcases her ability to turn to whoever she wants without fail:
Mikasa Ackerman from Attack on Titan
Perhaps, one of the grandest cosplays Alodia has done is Mikasa Ackerman from Attack on Titan (Season 4). With “Sasageyo!” (Dedicate) written in her caption, she also mentioned a fun fact where she used the same scarf from her Season 1 Mikasa.
Overall, you could see the effort into recreating Mikasa’s outfit and the iconic 3D Maneuver Gear. Though Alodia has costumes done by others, she often does her makeup. More so, the moon nightscape and digital imaging were incredibly accurate. Undoubtedly, one can say that we can envision Mikasa as a real person.
If you are not familiar with this series, Mikasa is known as a skilled member of the Survey Corps and one of the two deuteragonists of the series. The Final Season, Part 2, is currently available on several streaming platforms. Watch here on Hulu and Netflix.
Raiden Shogun from Genshin Impact
As one of the most in-demand action roleplaying games, Genshin Impact is something we shouldn’t miss. To celebrate the game’s anniversary last Sept. 2021, Alodia has dressed up as Raiden Shogun. Specifically, the God of Eternity and the current Electro Archon.
Like Raiden’s appearance, Alodia has long braided violet hair with a flower hairpin. As for her outfit, she wears a short kimono with thigh-high stockings and a ribbon choker. In this post, she is also seen wielding a sword.
Kyoka Eden from Scarlet Nexus
From the action RPG of Bandai Namco Entertainment, Alodia transformed into Kyoka Eden of Scarlet Nexus.
As we can see on Alodia, she managed to resemble the OSF Major by incorporating the purple tresses and the Blk Battle Attire: Miyabi. With the default black uniform and the crossbow, there’s no mistaking that she was able to pull it off flawlessly.
Ether Network from Call of Duty
Of course, Alodia did not forget the insanely well-liked multiplayer shooter game, Call of Duty. Roleplaying as Ether – Network, she’s a soldier with neon cyberpunk fashion as seen in the photo. Moreover, Alodia styled herself with vibrant blue undercut hair.
Raiden Mei from Honkai Impact
As one of the guest judges for Honkai Impact 3’s Honkai48 Cosplay Contest, she was Raiden Mei wearing the cosplay set Herrscher of Thunder. With her slender figure, she gave justice to the battle suit.
Apart from this, Alodia also featured Raiden’s dark red horns. Certainly, there is a striking resemblance between the cosplayer and the Herrscher.
Tatsumaki from One Punch Man
Along with her sister Ashley, they cosplayed Tatsumaki and Fubuki from the superhero anime, One Punch Man. Like in the show, the characters are siblings, Tatsumaki being older. Additionally, the sisters admitted that they are huge fans of this franchise.
Bringing the psychic sister to life, Alodia wears the usual black high-slit dress and stunning green hair. Despite their first try as Tatsumaki and Fubuki, their cosplay is beyond our expectations.
As you may know, Alodia has cosplayed more than the ones listed here. Mainly, older fans are familiar with her cosplaying heroes from Mobile Legends and other shows/anime. Indeed, she can cosplay almost every character we dream of coming alive.
