TikTok: “Here’s something I wish I knew before I was in my 30s”

Life has never been more entertaining because of Tiktok. After being exposed to a lot of social media platforms, who knew that we needed another video-sharing application? With only short-form video clips, content creators entertained, humored, and even educated their followers.

Personally, what I enjoyed about Tiktok the most are the trivia, fun facts, and random brain pills. It is not always dancing tutorials and new challenges. With a proper algorithm, one can really learn from the app.

One of my favorite Tiktok content creators is @sidneyraz. You might know him for his line, “Here’s something I wish I knew before I was in my 30s.”

Yup, that’s him. He has become known for his unusual random facts and life hacks. His contents are a collection of funny, mind-blowing, and very helpful hacks that will surely make living a little less hassle. Let’s take a look at some of his best Tiktok entries.

@sidneyraz’s viral TikTok videos

“SUN VISORS EXTEND?!”

His video about cars’ sun visors gathered 2.1 million likes. Little did we know that these visors can extend and shift sideways to protect us from sunlight coming through our windows. Apparently, many people did not know that.

“THAT WORKS! THAT WORKS!”

Another entry that got over a million likes is his soda can video. We usually have a hard time opening a can of soda especially when it was shaken because it explodes bubble. Sometimes, we tap the top of the can but it still bursts. Apparently, you have to tap the side of the can to prevent it from exploding. He also tested this trick and it worked.

“I’M SO COMFY.”

Lastly, his video about travel pillows accumulated 5.6 million likes and over 31 thousand comments. He explained that travel or neck pillows go in front, NOT in the back. This way is more comfortable and apparently, the right way to use it.

Sid also shared cleaning hacks. One of his entries about microwave cleaning garnered more than half a million likes. He showed that you can microwave lemon juice for a minute and a half and easily wipe the inside of the microwave to clean it. That is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Another hack he taught is about markers which gathered almost 70 thousand likes. He shared that you can use a dry erase marker to remove permanent markers. This trick can be used in school where we write on whiteboards. If you accidentally use a permanent marker, you can just cover the writings with a whiteboard marker and remove them easily.

“YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO PINCH TOBLERONE APART?!”

With more than four 400 thousand likes, his Toblerone trick blew the minds of his followers. Apparently, you are supposed to pinch Toblerone apart to get one. You should not crack it. It totally makes sense.
