Fresh-faced teenager Liam Tañare might be the next actor-host soon!

Showbiz in the Philippines has become fast-paced more than ever. Viewers are always looking for something new, unique, and refreshing. That’s why YouTube sensations and social media influencers gain so much popularity nowadays. But the question is, what’s this young generation can offer aside from stunning looks?

With a fiery passion for acting and hosting

Dudu Unay, the one who manages promising newbies like Royce Cabrera, Kent Gonzales, is forming a boy group called ‘New Normal Boyband’. Mr. Unay is still grooming and preparing their debut in the entertainment industry but let’s get to know one of their members: Liam Tañare!

Liam is a 17-year old guy who’s 5’7 in height and a Grade 11 Senior High at Holy Trinity Academy. He got that boy-next-door charm and loves acting, hosting, and swimming. He is also a member of Teatro Santatlo and already attended Star Magic Workshops. Since he likes to be a host someday, he attended the Foundation of Hosting and Public Speaking by Paolo Bediones.

How do you want to make it in the industry?

Liam

The entertainment world is exciting, creative, and (sometimes) glamorous, with hundreds of career paths to choose from. But first, you’ve got to get there and you’ve got to start somewhere (probably at the bottom). More than almost any other industry, it really is about who you are and your craft. The entertainment industry is a combination of almost everything, so when u say it’s your craft, you have to show them all you’ve got. I mean you should do a lot of training, never stop learning, nurturing your craft, learning all techniques, workshops and all will help me kickstart this journey!

What talents can you bring to the table?

Acting and hosting are two of my favorite skills while crying on cue may come naturally.  But acting as I’m sure you know is subjective. Good actors communicate real emotions, but for many young actors, producing real emotion is an acquired skill. For me it’s very complicated, it includes many smaller talents (imitating voices, speaking clearly, memorizing scripts, stage presence, displaying realistic fake emotions, and ignoring the audience.
But again, acting is a doing word, and unless you are continually practicing you will lose the skills you have already accumulated. Establishing any kind of routine and repetition will be advantageous for your skills. I still go to a lot of workshops and training to master my craft, empower myself, and enjoy this journey.

Who do you want to collaborate with?

Given a chance and a great opportunity, I would like to collaborate with Mr. John Arcilla and Mr. John Lloyd Cruz, I look up to them so much with such respect and recognition as an actor both in theater, television, and film I knew everyone will agree with me. In the hosting category, I look up to Mr.Robi Domingo and Mr.Luis Manzano, both of them are equipped with so much knowledge and humor in one character. I think they are both perfect in their own respective field. I am hoping to learn a lot from them and to be like them.

Surely, Liam Tañare seems to be eager in proving himself in front of the camera. He’s one of the young performers to stir things up!
