Filipina celebrities dominate the list of PH’s Top 10 Instagram earners of 2021
All spots for the Philippines’ top 10 Instagram earners for the year 2021 are taken by female celebrities, the latest findings say.
Online financial service provider NetCredit recently released the global ranking of last year’s top earners on Instagram. The report resulted from a comprehensive process of finding how users “sell their name” and their “power in a particular market.”
Furthermore, they emphasized using an algorithm, data-driven predictions, and other resources.
“To reveal the world’s top Instagram earners, NetCredit first built a list of the most-followed Instagram stars from every country. We used figures from the Instagram rich list to estimate the fee-per-ad for each country’s most-followed stars.”
NetCredit then counted the number of sponsored posts and multiplied it by their known or estimated ad fee. The procedure led to useful findings revealing who are the personalities that gained the most profit on Instagram through ads, sponsors, affiliated links, and other methods.
In the Philippines, Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach placed number one, becoming the country’s top earner. She placed 41st in the overall ranking and reportedly earned $3,669,205, which amounts to about P216 million.
Following Wurtzbach, actress Kathryn Bernardo came second with $3,533,360 or approximately P208 million in earnings. In third place, Anne Curtis joins the list with a profit of $2,936,119, which equals around P172 million.
Meanwhile, other Filipinas in the ranking include actresses Kim Chiu, Andrea Brillantes, and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. Finishing the top ten list are Liza Soberano, Nadine Lustre, Alex Gonzaga, and Marian Rivera, respectively.
