Anne Curtis confessed this when she replied to a fan who said that she misses seeing her in films. She said,

“Good morning! Don’t worry! I’m already in search a for a really good script! Kaya may ilang pitching ang nagaganap.”

(Good morning! Don’t worry! I’m already in search for a really good script! That’s why there are several pitches happening.)

Also according to her, besides films, Anne also misses starring in teleseryes (television series). But she stated how she wants it to just have only 12 to 16 episodes only. This might be based on the episode count of most Korean Drama series which she is a fan of.

“I also miss doing films and yes, series too! Pero gusto ko ‘yung mga 12 -16 eps na series hahahahahaha!”

(I also miss doing films and yes, series too! But I prefer those with only 12 – 16 episodes [laughs]!)

Anne Curtis was last seen in the movie The Mall, The Merrier with co-host and friend, Vice Ganda for the Metro Manila Film Festival in 2019. Meanwhile, the last television series that she starred in and also served as a lead actress was Dyesebel in 2014. In 2016, she also appeared in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as a guest star.

Meanwhile, on July 1, she also told fans to calm down in response to allegations that she will also sign with GMA Network. She also teased fans that she will soon come back to Its Showtime as a regular host.

Anne has been a Kapamilya for 17 years. The affirmation that she will remain with ABS-CBN happened when she replied to a fan’s tweet about her virtual meeting with GMA-7 executives.

Fan said,

“Please tell us na GMA Films lang, at hindi ka lilipat sa GMA.”

(Please tell us that this is just for GMA Films, and you won’t transfer to GMA [Network])

The actress quoted the fan’s tweet and answered the speculation. She explained how fans should calm down and assured them that she will stay as a Kapamilya (ABS-CBN star).

“Hahaha Yes. Kalma. They pitched a film for next year na hindi pa naman sure yet. As always, I need to read the script first before making a decision. The last viva x gma film I did was IN YOUR EYES with Ate Claudine & Richard. I was already a Kapamilya then. So Kalma Lang!”

([laughing] Yes, calm down. They pitched for next year that isn’t sure yet. As always, I need to read the script first before making a decision. The last Viva by GMA Films I did was In Your Eyes with Ms. Claudine [Barreto] and Richard [Gomez]. I was already a Kapamilya then. So calm down!)
