Hakata Ton-Ichi: My Favorite Ramen House
Among all the ramen restaurants in the metro, Hakata Ton Ichi may be the best for me. Their food is like a warm hug that just takes away all of your worries and distress. On top of this, Hakata Ton-Ichi is making sure that their ramen will be part of your comfort food once eaten.
Starting off with their ramen, of course, gives an overwhelmingly good essence of deliciousness. The meaty, savory, and umami taste in one is just three words to describe how mouthwatering their ramen is. You only need one great bowl of noodles to instantly experience an embrace of a warm and delightful slurp.
Hakata Ton-Ichi offers four flavors of ramen: their signature Ton-Ichi, Miso-Ichi, Red ramen, and Black ramen. Out of these four flavors, the Red, and Black ramen are my favorites. The Red ramen has a rich meaty flavor, and its mild spicy broth makes it more piquant and appetizing. I love spicy food but the spiciness of the Red ramen is not that exaggerated, perfect for people who just love a kick in their soup. Meanwhile, the Black ramen has a hint of seafood-ish flavor because of the squid ink. It has a distinct taste of umami, and nutty flavors combined. Moreover, the marinated egg, and the sliced pork on top make these ramens perfect.
Aside from their in-house ramen, you can also treat yourself to other Japanese cuisines on their menu. For appetizers, they have Sunny California Rolls, Gyoza, Hakata, and Potato Salad. They also offer rice meals like Pork and Chicken Katsu Curry rice, and Teriyaki bowls. Lastly, my best-loved Chicken Karaage because of its well-seasoned meat and breading. Surely, Hakata Ton-Ichi uses high-quality and premium ingredients to satisfy your cravings.
In addition, Hakata Ton-Ichi offers set meals that let you partner with their ramen, rice meals, and side dishes. They are also located in SM North Edsa, Glorietta, and Ayala North Exchange, and all of them have a relaxing Japanese ambiance. So what are you waiting for?
